Rules for buying and selling goods in the Akieron.com online shop

1. General provisions

1.1 These Terms and Conditions of Sale and Purchase of Goods (hereinafter referred to as the "Terms and Conditions"), once they have been approved by the Buyer (by familiarising himself with the Terms and Conditions and by ticking the box next to the statement "I agree to the Terms and Conditions of Service and undertake to abide by them"), shall constitute a binding legal document for the parties, which shall set out the rights and duties of the Buyer and the Seller, the conditions of purchase of the goods and the conditions for payment, the procedure for delivery and return of the goods, the parties' liability and any other provisions relating to the sale and purchase of goods in the "www.akieron.com" online shop.

1.2 The Seller reserves the right to change, amend or supplement the Terms and Conditions at any time, taking into account the statutory requirements. The Buyer will be informed of any changes, corrections or additions at the time of logging in to "www.akieron.com" and will be obliged to re-confirm the amended Terms and Conditions in order to make purchases in this online shop.

1.3. The online shop "www.akieron.com" is only sold in the territory of the Republic of Lithuania.

1.4.1. able-bodied natural persons, i.e. persons who have reached the age of majority and whose legal capacity has not been restricted by court order;

1.4.2. minors between the ages of fourteen and eighteen, only with the consent of their parents or guardians, except where they are self-reliant;

1.4.3. legal persons;

1.4.4. authorised representatives of all of the above.

1.5 By accepting the Terms and Conditions, the Customer confirms that he/she accepts and agrees to be bound by the Terms and Conditions and has the right to purchase goods in the "www.akieron.com" online shop.

2. Protection of personal data

2.1 Ordering goods in the online shop "www.akieron.com"

There are two ways for the Buyer to do so:

2.1.1. by registering on this website, by entering his/her registration name and password;

2.1.2. without registering on this website.

2.2 When ordering goods, the Buyer shall indicate in the relevant information fields provided by the Seller the personal data necessary for the proper execution of the order: name, surname, delivery address, telephone number and e-mail address.

2.3 By accepting these Terms and Conditions, the Buyer agrees to the processing of his/her personal data for the purposes of the sale of goods and services in the online shop "www.akieron.com".


2.4 By consenting to the processing of his/her personal data for the purpose of the sale of goods and services in the Seller's online shop, the Buyer also consents to the sending of information messages to the e-mail address and telephone number he/she has provided, which are necessary for the execution of the order of goods.

2.5 . The Customer may, by placing an order or registering, express his/her consent/non-consent to the use of his/her personal data for direct marketing purposes. He/she does so by ticking (I agree to the use of my personal data for direct marketing purposes) or not ticking (I do not agree). We send a monthly newsletter to the email address provided by the customer and give the customer the opportunity to unsubscribe from the newsletter (at the end of the newsletter, there is an option to "unsubscribe" - by clicking on this option, the customer will no longer receive the newsletter). 

2.6 The Seller confirms that the personal data provided by the Customer will only be processed for the purposes of selling goods and services in the online store "www.akieron.com", analysis of the Seller's activities and direct marketing (unless the Customer refuses the processing of his/her personal data for direct marketing purposes). The Seller undertakes not to disclose the Buyer's personal data to third parties other than the Seller's partners providing delivery or other services related to the proper execution of the Buyer's order. In all other cases, the Buyer's personal data may be disclosed to third parties only in accordance with the procedure provided for by the legislation of the Republic of Lithuania.

2.7 The Buyer, who wishes to order the services of partners offered by the Seller's online store, may do so by expressing his consent to the transfer of his personal data, explicitly indicated, to the respective partner for the purpose of providing the services ordered.

3. The moment of conclusion of the contract of sale and purchase

3.1 The contract between the Buyer and the Seller shall be deemed to be concluded from the moment the Buyer, having selected the product(s) to be purchased and having formed a shopping cart, clicks on the "Order" link and the Seller, after contacting the Buyer by telephone or by e-mail, confirms the order by sending an e-mail confirming the order.

3.2 The Seller shall have the right to cancel orders placed if the Buyer fails to pay for the goods ordered within 24 hours of receipt of the Seller's confirmation of the order placed. The procedure and time limits for payment for the Goods are set out in Section 8 of these Conditions.

3.3 Every contract of sale concluded between the Buyer and the Seller shall be registered and stored in the database of the online shop "www.akieron.com".

4. Rights of the Buyer

4.1 The Buyer shall have the right to purchase goods in the "www.akieron.com" online shop in accordance with the procedure set out in these Terms and Conditions and in the other information sections of the Seller's online shop.

4.2 The Buyer has the right to access his/her personal data and the right to request the correction of incorrect, incomplete or inaccurate personal data by submitting such a request to the Seller by e-mail ([email protected]) or by contacting the Seller by telephone (tel. no.: 863077733). The Seller shall correct/adjust the data provided by the Buyer within 2 (two) working days at the latest. 

4.3 The Buyer shall have the right to withdraw from the contract of sale of goods concluded with the online shop "www.akieron.com" by notifying the Seller in writing (by e-mail to [email protected], indicating the product to be returned and the order number of the product) not later than within 14 (fourteen) working days from the date of delivery.

4.4 The right provided for in Clause 4.3 of the Rules may be exercised only by the Buyer, who, according to the provisions of the Law of the Republic of Lithuania on Consumer Rights Protection (Official Gazette of the Republic of Lithuania, 1994, No. 94-1833; 2007, No. 12-488), is considered to be a consumer, that is, a natural person, who expresses his/her will to buy, purchases, and uses the product or service for the satisfaction of his/her own personal, family, household needs, not related to business or profession. 


4.5 The rules for withdrawal from the contract pursuant to Clause 4.3 of the Rules shall be determined by the Civil Code of the Republic of Lithuania and the Rules for the Sale of Goods and Provision of Services when Contracts are Concluded by Means of Communication, approved by the Order of the Minister of the Economy of the Republic of Lithuania No. 258 of 17 August 2001 (Žin., 2001, No. 73-2583; 2011, No. 161-7654).

4.6 The buyer (consumer) may exercise the right to withdraw from the contract for the sale of goods only if the goods have not been damaged or if there has been no material change in their appearance. Changes in the appearance of the goods or their packaging which were necessary to inspect the goods received shall not be considered as substantial changes in the appearance of the goods.

5. Obligations of the Buyer

5.1 . The Buyer shall pay for and accept the Goods in accordance with these Conditions (Sections 8 and 9 of these Conditions).

5.2 Once registered, the Buyer undertakes not to disclose his/her login details to third parties. If the Buyer loses his/her login details, he/she must immediately inform the Seller using the means of contact specified in the "Contact" section.

5.3 If the data provided by the registered Buyer in the registration form changes, the Buyer must update them immediately.


5.4 Upon written notice of withdrawal from the contract, the Buyer (consumer) must return the goods (if delivered to the Buyer) to the Seller's collection point specified in Clause 9.3.1 of these Terms and Conditions no later than within 15 (fifteen) calendar days.

5.5 The Buyer, when using the online shop "www.akieron.com", undertakes to comply with these Terms and Conditions, other terms and conditions expressly stated in the online shop, and not to violate the legislation of the Republic of Lithuania.

6. Seller's rights

6.1 The Seller shall have the right, at its sole discretion, to determine the minimum basket size, i.e. the minimum amount of the goods to be ordered by the Buyer. This amount is visible when viewing the shopping cart.

6.2 If the Buyer attempts to undermine the stability and security of the online shop or violates his/her obligations, the Seller shall have the right to restrict or suspend the Buyer's access to the online shop immediately without notice or, in exceptional cases, to terminate the Buyer's registration or to block the Buyer's access to the online shop from certain IP addresses.

6.3 In the event of serious circumstances, the Seller may temporarily or permanently discontinue the operation of the Online Shop without prior notice to the Buyer.

6.4 The Seller shall be entitled to cancel the Buyer's order without prior notice to the Buyer if the Buyer fails to pay for the ordered goods within 24 hours of the Seller's acknowledgement of the order, as provided for in Section 8 of the Terms and Conditions.

7. Obligations of the Seller

7.1 The Seller undertakes to provide the Buyer with access to the services of the online shop "www.akieron.com" under the terms and conditions set out in these Conditions and in the Online Shop.

7.2 The Seller undertakes to respect the Buyer's right to privacy with regard to personal information belonging to him, i.e. to process the personal data provided by the Buyer only in accordance with the procedure set out in Section 2 of the Terms and Conditions and the legislation of the Republic of Lithuania.

7.3 The Seller undertakes to deliver the goods ordered by the Buyer to the address specified by the Buyer in accordance with the conditions set out in Section 9 of the Rules.

7.4 If the Seller is unable to deliver the goods ordered to the Buyer due to important circumstances, the Seller undertakes to offer an analogous product or a product that is as similar as possible in terms of its characteristics. If the Buyer refuses to accept an analogous or most similar product, the Seller undertakes to refund the Buyer the money paid within 5 (five) working days.

7.5 If the Buyer (consumer) exercises the right provided for in Clause 4.3 of the Rules and under the condition provided for in Clause 4.7 of the Rules, the Seller undertakes to refund the money paid to the Buyer within 5 (five) working days from the date of receipt of the returned goods.

8. Payment procedure and terms

8.1 Payment through the Mokėjimai.lt system

When executing an order, you can choose payment through the opay.lt system. This system will allow you to pay:

- Electronic banking assistance of Lithuanian banks

- MAXIMA cash registers, pearl terminals, Lithuanian post offices

- Kiosks marked with "Lietuvos Spauda" and "Rkiosk" signs throughout Lithuania.

At the end of the order, you will be directed to the opay.lt system, where you will be able to choose the payment method acceptable to you.

To pay at MAXIMA cash registers or newsstands, you will need to print a special receipt with a barcode, which will need to be presented at the cash register. Therefore, you must have a printer to pay in these ways.

We will see the payment through Opay.lt immediately, therefore paying in this way will lead to the shortest execution time of your order.

8.2 Payment through the system with Opay.lt debit (credit) card.

8.3 Payment via PayPal. We'll see the payment immediately after payment

8.4 Payment by worldwide e-banking systems and credit (debit) cards through the Stripe.com system. We'll see the payment immediately after payment

8.5 Payment by bank transfer. We'll only see the payment a few days after the transfer. After paying from the Lithuanian account after 1-3 days. After paying from abroad after 2-5 d.d.

9. Delivery of goods

9.1 When ordering the Goods, the Buyer may choose the method of delivery of the Goods, i.e. to use the Seller's delivery service or at the Seller's collection point.


9.2 Delivery of Goods to the Buyer:

9.2.1 The Buyer undertakes to specify the exact place of delivery of the Goods by selecting the delivery service at the time of ordering.


9.2.2 The Buyer undertakes to collect the goods himself. In the event that the Buyer is unable to take delivery of the goods himself and the goods are delivered to the address indicated and on the basis of other data provided by the Buyer, the Buyer shall not have the right to claim against the Seller for the delivery of the goods to the wrong entity.

9.2.3 The goods shall be delivered by the Seller or its authorised representative.

9.2.5 The Goods shall be delivered within the territory of the Republic of Lithuania and the European Union countries.

9.3 Collection of the Goods from the Seller's collection points:

9.3.1. the Buyer may collect the Goods free of charge from the Seller's collection point located at V. Kudirkos st. 7-7, Vilnius.

9.3.2 . The ordered goods must be collected no later than within 5 (five) working days from the moment of receipt of the Seller's confirmation that the order is ready.


9.3.3. When collecting the Goods, it is necessary to carry and present to the Seller's employee a valid identity document (identity card, passport or new driving licence).

9.4 The Seller shall deliver the Goods to the Buyer in accordance with the terms set out in the descriptions of the Goods. These deadlines are provisional and do not apply in cases where the Seller does not have the goods in stock and the Buyer is informed of a shortage of the goods ordered. The Buyer also agrees that in exceptional cases the delivery of the goods may be delayed due to unforeseen circumstances beyond the Seller's control. In such case, the Seller undertakes to contact the Buyer immediately to agree on the terms of delivery.

9.5 In all cases, the Seller shall be exempt from liability for breach of the time limits for delivery of the Goods if the Goods are not delivered to the Buyer or are not delivered on time due to the Buyer's fault or due to circumstances beyond the Buyer's control.

9.6 At the time of delivery of the Goods to the Buyer, the Buyer shall inspect the condition of the consignment and the Goods(s) together with the Seller or its authorised representative and sign the consignment handover-receipt document. Once the Buyer has signed the handover/acceptance document, the consignment shall be deemed to have been handed over in good condition, and there shall be no damage to the goods attributable to defects other than manufacturing defects and no inconsistencies in the assembly of the goods (such as can be detected by an external inspection of the goods). If the Buyer notices that the packaging of the delivered consignment is damaged (crumpled, wet or otherwise externally damaged), that the item(s) are damaged and/or that the item(s) are not in the right condition, the Buyer shall note this in the handover/acceptance document of the consignment, and shall draw up a free-form certificate of the damage/mismatch of the consignment and/or the item(s), in the presence of the Seller or his representative. If the Buyer fails to do so, the Seller shall be exempt from liability to the Buyer in respect of any damage to the goods, provided that such damage is not due to a manufacturing defect, and in respect of any inconsistencies in the assembly of the goods, provided that such inconsistencies can be detected by an external inspection of the goods.

9.7 Production time

9.8 Shipping

9.8.1 International tracked shipping (ECONOMY): Goods deliver within 3-15 working days after shipping, depending on the destination country. (Additional time needed to produce must be considered - check product description, before purchase)

9.8.6 LPExpress - shipping by carrier within Lithuania (Door to door): Parcels are delivered within 1-2 working days after shipping (Additional time needed to produce must be considered - check product description, before purchase)

Shiping may be affected by COVID19 restrictions or upcoming CHRISTMAS period.

10. Guarantee of the quality of the Goods and the period of fitness for use

10.1 The characteristics of each product sold by www.akieron.com are generally set out in the product description accompanying each product.

10.2 The Seller shall not be liable for the fact that the colour, shape or other parameters of the goods in the online shop may not correspond to the actual size, shape and colour of the goods due to the characteristics of the display used by the Buyer.


10.3 The Seller shall provide a 10 day guarantee on all goods

10.4 In the event that the Seller does not guarantee the quality of the goods for certain types of goods, the warranty provided for by the relevant legislation shall apply.

10.5 The Seller shall provide after-sales service for the goods through an intermediary between the Buyer and the manufacturer or the manufacturer's representative.

11. Return and replacement of goods

11.1 Goods of inadequate quality or quality goods of which the Buyer does not like the shape, size, colour, model or completeness shall be exchanged or returned in accordance with the Rules for Return and Exchange of Goods, approved by Order of the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Lithuania No. 217 of 29 June 2001 (Žin., 2001, No. 58-2105; 2012, No. 34-1637), the Civil Code of the Republic of Lithuania, and any other applicable laws of the Republic of Lithuania. 

11.2 The goods sold in accordance with these Terms and Conditions are included in the list specified in Clause 17 of the Rules for Return and Exchange of Goods (category: printed books, reproductions and other articles of the printing industry (codes according to the Combined Nomenclature - 4901-4911)), and, therefore, the quality of the goods shall be replaced at the request of the Customer or the money paid for the goods shall be refunded, subject to the Seller's consent and in accordance with the following conditions: 

11.2.1. the Seller shall replace the goods with similar goods or refund the full amount paid for the goods if the goods to be replaced or refunded are not made to the Buyer's individual order or are not obviously tailored to it; 

11.2.2. if the goods are made to the Buyer's individual order or are obviously tailored to the Buyer's requirements, they shall not be replaced and may not be returned (the Buyer shall not be refunded any money paid for such goods).

11.3 In the event that the Buyer (consumer) cancels a contract concluded in respect of goods which have been produced to the Buyer's individual order or are obviously tailored to the Buyer's individual order, 50% of the amount paid for such goods shall remain with the Seller as compensation for the Seller's losses incurred in the production of a sample of the goods intended to be produced according to the Buyer's individual order.

11.4 In order to return the item(s) in the cases referred to in Clause 11.1 of the Conditions, the Buyer must inform the Seller by email at www.akieron.com

11.5 In order to return or exchange the Goods, the Buyer must also comply with these Conditions:

11.5.1. the returned goods must be in their original packaging in good condition (this clause does not apply in the case of returns of low-quality goods);

11.5.2. the quality of the Goods must be intact and the appearance of the packaging of the Goods must not have been altered by the Buyer (changes in the appearance of the Goods or their packaging which were necessary for the inspection of the Goods shall not be deemed to be a material alteration in the appearance of the Goods);

11.5.3. the goods must be unused and not have lost their merchantable appearance (labels intact, protective film not torn off, etc.) (this clause does not apply to the return of low quality goods);

11.5.4. the quality of the Goods must be the same as when received by the Buyer;

11.5.5. when returning the Goods, it is necessary to present a document confirming their purchase.

11.6 The Seller shall have the right not to accept the goods returned by the Buyer and/or not to refund the money paid by the Buyer for the goods, if the Buyer has not complied with the procedure for the return of goods set out in Clauses 11.4 and 11.5 of the Regulations.

11.7.Goods shall be exchanged or returned at the Seller's collection point located at V. Kudirkos g. 7-7, Vilnius, on working days from 08.00 to 17.00 hours. The obligation to deliver the returned or exchanged goods to the place specified in this point of the Rules, as well as all related costs, shall be borne by the Buyer, except in the case of returning or exchanging goods of inadequate quality.

11.8 The money paid for the returned goods shall be paid to the bank account specified by the Buyer no later than within 5 (five) working days from the date of return of the goods. 

11.9 In the event of a return or exchange of goods of good quality and conforming to the Buyer's order, the delivery charge shall be non-refundable and non-refundable to the Buyer.

12. Liability

12.1 The Buyer is fully responsible for the accuracy of the personal data provided by him. If the Buyer fails to provide accurate personal data, the Seller shall not be liable for the consequences arising therefrom and shall be entitled to claim direct damages from the Buyer.

12.2 The Buyer shall be liable for the actions carried out using this online shop.

12.3 Once registered, the Buyer is responsible for the transmission of his/her login data to third parties. If a third party uses the services provided by "www.akieron.com" by logging in to the online shop using the Buyer's login data, the Seller shall consider this person as the Buyer.

12.4 The Seller shall be exempt from any liability in cases where the loss is caused by the Buyer's failure to read these Terms and Conditions, notwithstanding the Seller's recommendations and obligations, even though the Buyer was given the opportunity to do so.

12.5 If the Seller's online shop contains links to the websites of other companies, institutions, organisations or persons, the Seller is not responsible for the information or activities contained therein and does not supervise, control or represent such companies or persons.

12.6 In the event of damage, the party at fault shall indemnify the other party against direct damages.

12.7 The Seller shall not be liable for the proper performance of the obligations between the Buyer and the Seller's partners whose services the Buyer orders.

13. Exchange of information

13.1 The Seller shall send all notices in accordance with the procedure set out in Clause 2.2 of the Terms and Conditions to the email address provided by the Buyer.

13.2 The Buyer shall send all notifications and questions to the means of contact specified in the "Contact" section of the Seller's online shop.

14. Final provisions

14.1 These Terms and Conditions are made in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Lithuania.

14.2 The relations arising from these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the law of the Republic of Lithuania.

14.3 Any disagreements arising from the performance of these Rules shall be settled by negotiation. In the event of failure to reach an agreement, disputes shall be settled in accordance with the procedure established by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania.
